月如钩，
聚散几回银汉秋。

何日休？
织女牵牛，
万古情依旧。

At the top of Praying-to-Wearer-Gril Tower,
The moon is a crescent in the sky.
Yearning for reunion across the Milky Way.
Once a year in July she’s filled with dismay.
To whom the parting grief she can say?
The love of the Cowherd for the Weaver Girl,
Will be witnessed on July Seventh, a red-letter day.
