Liberty Festival Message from the Mayor of London
Today, London will be hosting the biggest outdoor disability arts festival anywhere in the UK with a fantastic celebration at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The ground-breaking Liberty Festival attracts deaf and disabled artists from around the world, giving them an opportunity to showcase their work and incredible talent.
The festival – which this year marks its 15th anniversary – includes live music, dancing, aerial performances, street theatre and an amazing carnival procession.
As the Mayor of London, I’m proud to support the Liberty Festival, because it shines a light on our city as a beacon of equality and shows that we don’t just tolerate our diversity, we respect, embrace and celebrate it!
So come down to Queen Elizabeth Park and enjoy the Liberty Festival.
