Today marks the most important date in the Sikh faith, when Guru Gobind Singh Ji created the Khalsa panth 318 years ago. Friends and families in Canada and around the world will celebrate at parades and gurdwaras. Plus, in just a few days, we’ll also mark the 35^th anniversary of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Just as the creation of Khalsa defines Sihkism, the Charter defines our country.
