assume：指把一件尚未证实的事作为事实或真相，含有较强的武断成分。如：
I assume you always get up at the same time. 我想你总是在同一个时间起床。
Assume this to be true. 假定这是真的。
presume ：指根据过去的经验或某些现实的感觉把某事认为事实，虽然还没有确定的证据。可作不及物动词，后接名词、代词、不定式或that+从句；也可用作不及物动词，常与on, upon连用。如：
I presume you're tired after the long ride. 长途旅行后我想你肯定累了。
From the way they talked, I presumed them to be father and son. 从他们的谈吐中，我推测他们是父子。
suppose：作及物动词。有时表示有一定根据的“猜想”，有时用于陈述自己的意见，相当于“想”。如：
Suppose a company has a new breakfast cereal that it wants to sell. 假设有个公司出售一种新的早餐麦片粥。
I suppose you are right. 我想你是对的。
