The American Translators Association is now accepting presentation proposals for the ATA 53rd Annual Conference in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />San Diego, California, October 24-27, 2012.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

The ATA Annual Conference is an essential professional development event specific to the needs of translators and interpreters. Over 150 educational sessions are offered, including a selection of three-hour, in-depth Preconference Seminars. Sessions feature more than a dozen languages and a variety of specializations. Speakers come from all over the world and volunteer to share their experience and expertise with all attendees. They are working translators and interpreters, many of whom are also educators, attorneys, physicians, CEOs, and managers.
