AMBASSADOR LOCKE:  Thank you very much, Mark, for your insightful comments about the necessary ingredients for successful investment abroad, whether for American companies or Chinese companies.  GE-China, under your leadership, is at the forefront of expanding bilateral investment ties with China.  We’re very, very grateful, as Ted Dean indicated, for your company’s generous sponsorship of today’s forum and making it possible.

I want to thank everyone for joining us at this first Ambassador’s Investment Forum.  I hope that you found this morning’s sessions useful.  I especially want to thank Chairman Wang, Chairman Zhong and Chairman Song for taking time out of their very, very busy schedules to join us and for sharing their experiences about their investments in the United States.

I also want to take this opportunity to recognize, because I’ve been asked by several people throughout the morning session as to who their contacts might be in their respective communities.  So I’d like to introduce the three Consuls General from our consulates who are here.
