Tonight we will watch a special match at the Bird’s Nest. This match presents a wonderful combination of time and space. As for the time, the London Olympics will kick off in several hours. As for the place, it is in the Bird’s Nest Stadium that the sacred flame of the Beijing Olympics was lit four years ago.

　　今晚也是足球和友谊的欢乐派对。两支英超劲旅——阿森纳队和曼城队，从现代足球的诞生地来到世界足球运动的起源地进行一场挑战赛。我相信，他们带来的不仅是世界一流球队的精湛技艺，也将带来增进中英两国人民之间友谊的良好愿望。
