由商务部、中央宣传部、发展改革委、教育部、科技部、工业和信息化部、财政部、环境保护部、住房城乡建设部、交通运输部、知识产权局和中科院等12个部门，共同主办的2010中国绿色产业和绿色经济高科技国际博览会即将隆重开幕。

China International Green Industry Expo 2010 (CIGIE 2010) is about to open. This Expo is co-sponsored by twelve ministries and commissions of Ministry of Commerce, Information Department of the CPC Central Committee, National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, State Intellectual Property Office, and Chinese Academy of Sciences.

本次博览会以 “绿色经济 互利共赢” 为主题，按照全面贯彻落实科学发展观的要求，加强中国与各国在绿色产业和绿色经济领域的交流与合作，共同探求应对全球气候变化的有效途径。

As required by Scientific Outlook on Development, the Expo, with the theme of “Green Economy, Mutual Benefit”, aims to enhance exchanges and cooperation in green industry and economy between China and other countries around the world and to find effective ways with joint efforts to combat global climate change.

本次博览会将集中展示25个国家和地区的212家国际知名企业，在清洁能源、节能减排、环境治理、低碳技术、循环经济领域的先进技术和产品；展示绿色低碳的生产方式、生活方式和消费方式；展示中国政府在发展绿色经济，创建生态文明方面的举措与成就。

This Expo will comprehensively present advanced technologies and products on clear energy, energy-saving and emission reduction, environmental control, low-carbon technology and circular economy of 212 world famous enterprises from 25 countries and regions, show the way of low-carbon production, low-carbon life and low-carbon consumption, and spotlight measures and achievements made by the Chinese government in developing green economy and building ecological civilization.

目前，中国正在加快建设资源节约型、环境友好型社会，提高生态文明水平，努力实现经济社会全面协调可持续发展。我们相信，本次博览会的举办，必将对中国引进绿色经济领域先进技术和设备，增强公民的环境保护意识，促进节能减排，加强应对全球气候变化的国际交流与合作，巩固全球经济复苏势头和实现可持续发展，产生积极影响。

At present, China is speeding up the construction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, improving eco-civilization and striving to realize the all-around, balanced and sustainable development of the economy and society. This Expo, we believe, will exert positive impact on bringing in advanced technologies and equipments in green economy for China, enhancing environmental protection consciousness of citizens, promoting energy-saving and emission reduction, enhancing the international exchanges and cooperation in coping with the global climate change, consolidating the global economic recovery and realizing the sustainable development.
