A gentle breath

Asks the breeze to carry you high.

Once ripened, it is time to leave,

Then why this insistent delay?

 

I was once envious of the wind,

I was once envious of the bright clouds,

The heat holds too many teardrops,

Can anyone understand my feeling?

 

Fly away, O, fly away!

Since you’ve ceased lingering.

The little white bird

Belongs to the sky’s eternal blue.
