自己是孔雀

自信他们鸡冠已够他

仰着头漫步——

一个院子他绕上了一遍

仪表风姿

都在群雌的面前！

 

我们的雄鸡从没有以为

自己是首领

晓色里他只扬起他的呼声

这呼声叫醒了别人

他经济的保留着这种叫喊

于是便象征了时间！

Our rooster never claims himself

       As a peacock,

But his crest makes him confident

       Enough to raise his head

Walking around the courtyard,

       In the pride of good manner,

Just before a group of hens!

 

Our rooster never claims himself

       As a leader,

But only crowing in the daybreak

       To wake up others,

He reserves the crow cautiously

       (Reserves the rule)

And then signifies the time!
