虽软玉似的身儿已抱惯，

却不能测知爱人心情的深浅。

只在地上画几个图形，

天上的星度却已算准。

Although (I have become) familiar with (her) tender body,

(I am) unable to fathom the heart of (my) lover.

(But we only have to) scratch a few figures on the ground,

And the distances of the stars on the skies are correctly computed.
