马路上的空气老化了

堵塞住城市的主干道

车辆像不会走路的婴儿

很长时间都在原地爬行

这个年代手机流行

眼前全是南来北往的短信息

城市是一群站着的房子

我是乡下人  躺在城市的灯光里

没有了水车和稻田  此刻

我，正在张望

尘土飞扬的乡间小路上

一些不愿意归宿城市的灵魂

Restless Souls in the City

The air over the road is getting old

Clogging the city’s main thoroughfares

Vehicles are infants, hardly able to walk

Time slips away as they crawl in place

Now cellular phones are quite the thing

Messages from anywhere meet our eyes

The city is a mass of standing buildings

Speed appears in clusters of information

From the countryside I came to sleep beneath streetlights

No rice paddies or water buffaloes here

At this moment my eyes turn to search

Where dust flies over a country road
