Some earth has been mouthed from across the river up to your beams.

Some fountain has been brought from next door into your cup.

Luxury items from abroad now anchored in your chest,

I want to study the history of communications.

Last night, a slice of sight paid.

This morning, two buds of smiles received.

Paid: a twig of mirror-flower.

Received: a wheel of water-moon.

For you, I have kept a day-to-day account.
