既然爱的凝视来自爱的心灵

我就要步着你的目光

一直走进你的心灵

勇敢地去占有

并通过你的眼睛向所有人宣布

I’m walking to you with a smile

Your gaze is a bliss.

Yet the bliss sometimes makes me worry:

Like the ocean, though peaceful,

One day all of a sudden, a tempest might appear.

 

I feel that I myself am a cherry, a cumquat;

Absorbing your sight

I became intoxicated

–intoxicated sweetly and honorably.

 

I firmly walk to you.

Your gaze is a passion: solemn and sublime,

Like a serene mountain,

Your silent calling has decided

That my climbing will take a life-time.

Since a gaze of love originates

from a heart of love,

I’ll follow your sight

Until I walk into your heart

And bravely conquer it.

Then I’ll declare through your eyes

That your gaze belongs to only one person.
