The Clever Woman 汉译

A woman and a man are involved in a car accident. It’s a bad one. Both of their cars are totally demolished but amazingly neither of them are hurt.

After they crawl out of their cars, the woman says, “So you’re a man, that’s interesting. I’m a woman. Wow, just look at our cars! There’s nothing left but fortunately we are unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days.”

Flattered, the man replied, “I agree with you completely.”

“This must be a sign from God! The woman continued,” And look at this, here’s another miracle... My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn’t break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.”

Then she hands the bottle to the man. The man shakes his head in agreement, opens it and drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman.

The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man.

The man asks, “Aren’t you having any?”

The woman replies, “No, I think I’ll just wait for the police...”

聪明的女人

一个女人和一个男人驾车相撞，发生了严重的车祸，两个人的车子被撞得面目全非，然而，令人难以置信的是他们两人竟然毫发无损。

他们从各自的车子里爬了出来。女人说，“噢！你是男的！这实在是太有意思了。而我是一个女的……哇！你看看我们的车子，完全报废了，而幸运的是，我们两个人竟然私立逃生，毫发无损。这准是上帝给我们发出的一个信号。上帝让我们在这里相遇，并成为朋友。我们应该生活在一起，平平安安地度过我们的后半生。”

“我完全赞同你的看法。这一定是上帝发出的一个信号！”男人立即附和道。

女人继续说道，“你再瞧这——这又是一个奇迹。我的车子完全被撞坏了，但这一瓶酒却依然完好无损。我干肯定，上帝是想要我们喝这瓶酒，庆祝我们走上好运。”

说着，她把瓶子递给了男人。男人点点头，打开酒瓶，豪爽地一口干掉半瓶，然后把瓶子递给了那女人。女人接过酒瓶，马上把瓶盖盖上，把它又交给了那个男人。

“你一点都不喝？”男人问。

“是的，我不喝。我想我还是应该等警察来……”女人答道。
