I turned to speak God

About the world’s despair;

But to make bad matters worse

I found God wasn’t there.

God turned to speak to me

(Don’t anybody laugh);

God found I wasn’t there—

At least not over half.

并未完全在场

我转过身对上帝说话，

说的是人世间的绝望，

却使糟糕事变得更糟，
