Eating Half a Pie Would Be Quite Enough

A man was so hungry that he was ready to eat seven pies. But he felt quite full after he had eaten six and a half. He regretted this so much that he started to beat himself, exclaiming, “I am full because I ate the last half piece of pie. The other six pieces were wasted. Had I known that half a pie would be enough, I should have eaten it first.”
