In [Chou Pang-yen’s P’ien-yu tz’u] the tz’u [to the tune of ‘Ch’ing yu an’ that begins] ‘On this clear night lamps shine with the glow of [red] beans’ is a variation on Huang T’ing-chien’s tz’u to the tune of ‘Yi ti ching’. However, it seems more like one of the most inferior of Liu Yungs tz’u and not at all something that Chou Pang-yen would have written.
