词人之忠实，不独对人事宜然。即对一草一木，亦须有忠实之意，否则所谓游词也。

It is not enough that tz’u writers maintain a steadfast and faithful representation in the area of human affairs, but they must maintain the same standard of representation concerning every blade of grass, every tree. Otherwise it becomes what is called insincere expression (yu tz’u).
