The air and bone (feng-ku) of Wen T’ien-hsiang’s tzu are extremely lofty. And too, in having ching-chieh are far superior to the tz’u of Wang Yi-sun, Chang Yen, and Chou Mi. again, consider Liu Chi’s tz’u at the beginning of the Ming. Kao Ch’i, Yang Chi, and such poets could never aspire [to such heights].
