I pity myself that my capacity for poetry and wine is so thin.

How can I make fitting response

To so many spring colors?

and

How few times were we able to enjoy a ramble

And now we must wait for next year to see the blossoms again.

Are these such marvelous lines that they merited the trouble of being written down?
