Lines from Sung Cheng-yu’s tz’u to the tune of ‘Tieh lien hua:

The new style gauze gown has been tossed aside

She would seek again the spring skirt of olden days to wear.

and T’an Hsien’s tz’u to the same tune:

You and I together under branches interlaced,

Through a thousand blossoms, hundred grasses I’d follow you thus!

can be said to be very evocative in conveying sentiment.
