It is easy to imitate prose as a form of literature but difficult to become a master of it. On the other hand, parallel prose is difficult to imitate but easy to become skilled in. It is easy to imitate modern-style verse but difficult to become a master of if, whereas just the opposite holds true for ancient-style verse. It is easy to imitate little songs but difficult to become a master in this genre, whereas just the opposite holds true for the long songs.
