苏、辛，词中之狂。白石犹不失为狷。若梦窗、梅溪、玉田、草窗、中麓辈，面目不同，同归于乡愿而已。

In the tz’u of Su Shih and Hsih Ch’i-chi there is a certain ‘wild exuberance’, and even Chiang K’uei is not so bad that he cannot be considered one of the ‘timid ones’. But poets such as Wu Wen-ying, Shih Ta-tsu, Chang Yen, Chou Mi, and Ch’en Yun-p’ing may appear different on the surface, but actually they all fall within the category of ‘honest men of the village’.
