珍簟新铺翡翠楼，泓澄玉水记方流。

唯应云扇情相似，同向银床恨早秋。

Your valued bamboo summer mat

newly graces my emerald tower,

cools as the deepest limpid pool

of the purest jadelike water,

but the feeling’s like a beautiful fan,

lamenting too an early fall,

left on a silver bed.
