南风不用蒲葵扇，纱帽闲眠对水鸥。

A Bamboo Building

Lofty, free officials like me despise top officials,

I use the bamboos got from Xijiang (1) to build a building.

Where I sleep at leisure with gulls in the water near by,

And it’s needless to use any fan, for there’s a cool south breeze.
