行人遥指郑公石，沙白松青夕照边。

Passers-by all point to Prince Zheng’s monument from afar;

It stands in sunset glow among green pines on white sand.

None of our beloved heroes are left over the Divine Land;

I prostrate myself before the tablet, tears wetting my kasaya.

(1)    Referring to Zheng Chenggong, who was made Prince of Yanping during the reign of Emperor Yongli of the Southern Ming. The poem was written in 1909.
