Changjian

Morning enters the ancient shrine,

First sun touches the tips of trees.

Bamboo path leads to quiet retreats,

Zen room deep in flowers and plants.

Mountain scene pleases the birds,

Shady pond cleanses the heart of man.

All is silence here,

But for the bells and stony chimes.
