演漾绿蒲涵白芷。

溪上人家凡几家。

落花半落东流水。

蹴鞠屡过飞鸟上。

秋千竞出垂杨里。

少年分日作遨游。

不用清明兼上巳。

Cold Food Day on the Eastern Suburb

A shining rill through pears and peaches glides,

O’er the plants submerged sweet cattails sweetly sway.

Along the reaches hardly a person resides;

Of the falling flowers half float past, half stay.

When they kick the joy higher than birds it’ll fly,

With the swing they soar above all poplar trees—

The youngsters play on an Equinox day, for why

Must they wait till some later month or date to please?
