An Autumn Evening in my Villa Wang Wei
In the empty mountains fresh after a shower, Autumn thickens with oncoming dusk— Tranquil moonlight glistening among pines, Crystal water bubbling over pebbles. The bamboo grove giggles —girls are back from washing; The lotuses rustle — a sampan is about to emerge. The year is insinuating autumn into the vernal splendour— But I wouldn't mind staying on, and on.
