朝耕上平田，

幕耕上平田。

借问问津者，

宁知沮溺贤？

The Upland Fields

From dawn to dusk he tills the upland fields,

From dawn to dusk his plough or hoe he wields.

Should someone come to ask if a ferry's near,

Could he see, as in the past, a sage out here?
