木末芙蓉花，

山中发红萼。

涧户寂无人，

纷纷开且落。

Magnolias, "lotus-trees", how you shine in bud there

And blush and blaze upon this mountain-breast.

Around the untrodden dale there's none to stare

At you who bloom and fade and drop to rest.
