枯鱼过河泣，
何时悔复及！
作书与鲂鱮，
相教慎出入。

The Dried Fish

The dried fish, ferried across the river, weeps;
Too late he repents his folly!
He writes a letter to the bream and tench
Warning them to be more wary!
