江南可采莲，
莲叶何田田。
鱼戏莲叶间。

鱼戏莲叶东，
鱼戏莲叶西，
鱼戏莲叶南，
鱼戏莲叶北。

The South of the Yangtze River

The south of the Yangtze River teems with lotus seeds.
How dense and flourishing are the lotus leaves,
Around which the fish swims and breeds!
The fish swims to the east of the leaves;
The fish swims to the west of the leaves;
The fish swims to the south of the leaves;
The fish swims to the north of the leaves;
