唐阙汉陵何处有？

山，

空自愁；

河，

空自流。

To the Tune of Sheep on the Hillside

Zhao Shanqing

To the east Mount Li spanning,

To the south the Wei River winding,

The favourable strategic positions are still there lying.

Yet haunted by foxed and hares,

In grass and trees as the fall is waning,

The Qin palaces and the Sui gardens are the ruins stinking.

The Tang court and the Han mausoleums are reduced to nothing.

Mountains,

Worry about nothing;

Rivers,

Year after year flowing.
