In face I see green hills piled up on hills green,

Nearby grass grows waist-deep and grassy isles are seen.

Frost-proof tangerines and shaddocks stand proud,

Reeds steeped in rain look clear and clean.

Across the waves the riverside tower dimmed by cloud,

Peeping through boundless autumn on the river, it grieves

To see a few withered willow leaves.
