挂绝壁松枯倒倚，

落残霞孤鹜齐飞。

四围不尽山，

一望无穷水，

散西风满天秋意。

夜静云帆月影低，

载我在潇湘画里。

Autumn Scenery

To the Tune of Intoxication in East Wind

Lu Zhi

An old pine tree hangs downwards the steep rock,

Flying into the sunset glow is a lonesome duck.

Mountains and rolling hills endless,

A vast expanse of water boundless.

With the west wind autumn chill comes.

A lofty sail casts a long shadow in still moonlight,

Merged into such a beautiful picture is a great delight.
