Road to Tiantai Mountain
To the Tune of Four Pieces of Jade

Ma Zhiyuan

Herb-picking lad,
And phoenix rider,
Both reproach Liu Chen for descending Tiantian mountain.
Where are the fairies when the vernal breeze blows again?
No peach blossoms can be seen.
The ill-fated poor scholar,
You are to blame for leaving the mountain.
