Swans on the Shoal
To the Tune of Life-donating Sun

Ma Zhiyuan

You're a courier southward,
You're a messenger northward,
Resting on a shoal in the vicinity of flowers.
Like a solitary love-bird without mate in the world,
Towards the sea swans fly in slanting flights eastward.
