晚云收，
夕阳挂。
一川枫叶，
两岸芦花。
鸥鹭栖，
牛羊下。
万顷波光天图画，
水晶宫冷浸红霞。
凝烟暮景，
转晖老树，
背影昏鸦。

Sunset on the Western Hill
to the tune of the World being Overjoyed

Evening clouds disperse on high,
The setting sun hanging in the sky.
On the river maple leavers shower,
On the two banks grow the reed flower.
Gulls and egrets perch and sleep,
Homeward are going oxen and sheep.
Boundless gleaming waves present a heavenly picture to the eye,
The crystal-palace-like water is invested by crimson clouds with a red dye.
Congealed mist is seen in the evening twilight,
The ancient tress are bathed in quivering sunlight,
In the evening sky crows are high and out of sight.
