君子不镜于水而镜于人。镜于水，见面之容；镜于人，则知吉与凶。——《墨子·非攻中》

The gentlemen do not see their reflections in water but in men. When we use water as the mirror, we can only see our faces; when we use men as the mirror, we can learn about good luck and bad luck.
