不信芳春厌老人，

老人几度送余春。

惜春行乐莫辞频。

The idea that sweet spring hates the aged I doubt:

How many springs ahead can the aged enjoy?

One can’t be too frequent in spring to roam about!

In laughs and songs I’m true as a small naïve boy;

For one is really honest only when he’s drunk.

Abusing th’ wine and bloom I try to you annoy!
