风雨送人来，

风雨留人住。

草草杯盘话别离，

风雨催人去。

泪眼不曾晴，

眉黛愁还聚。

明日相思莫上楼，

楼上多风雨。

Spring wind and rain see you come nigh;

Spring wind and rain ask you to stay.

In haste over cups we say goodbye;

Spring wind and rain send you away.

Your tearful eyes are not yet dry;

Your eyebrows frown in sorrow.

If you feel lovesick, do not go up high!

For wind and rain will rage tomorrow.
