金蝉罗翦胡衫窄。
乘肩争看小腰身，

倦态强随闲鼓笛。

问称家住城东陌，

欲买千金应不惜。
归来困顿殢春眠，

犹梦婆娑斜趁拍。

She had her fair brow covered with a downy fox cap,

Her close-fitting Tartar suit decked with sable tails and a gauzy sash.

Standing on a man’s shoulders, she displayed her slender waist to the eager on lookers.

Though seeming tired she continued to follow the leisurely drum and flute.

Asked, she pointed her arbour at the East Market,

Fain would I throw a thousand pieces of gold for a smile;

But fatigued I came back and fell into a deep slumber.

In my dreams I still saw her gambol slantingly to the beat.
