系向绿杨阴下。

朱户掩，

绣帘垂，

曲院水流花谢。

欢罢，

归也，

犹在九衢深夜。

With golden reins and jade bridle, a neighing horse

Tied to the green willow, standing in its shadow.

The red gate is shut,

The embroidered curtain let down.

Meandering through the courtyard water flows, and flowers fade.

The welcome is over,

Return now

Again through the nine thoroughfares in the depth of the night.
