Outdoors cold clouds pile up over the pool in face.

Will riverside cold mume ‘mid bamboos bloom or not?

A light rain drizzles o’er the cot.

Who has sent so much sorrow to this land?

By the wild pool at the ferry I stand.

Are cloudlike flowers I planted still there? Tell me please.

On mist-veiled isles undulate willow trees.
