问讯湖边春色，

重来又是三年。

东风吹我过湖船，

杨柳丝丝拂面。

此心到处悠然。

寒光亭下水如天，

飞起沙鸥一片。

’Tis now three years

Since I visited spring at the lakeside,

And here I am again.

The east wind blows across my boat cruising,

The new willow twigs my face caressing.

I’m now well-traveled on the roads of this world,

My heart at ease wherever I go.

Down the Cool Bright Pavilion the water and sky merge.

A flock of seagulls skyward surge.
