昨夜月圆时，

月下相携手。

今夜天边月又圆，

夜色如清昼。

That night when the full moon shone bright,

Hand in hand we stood in moonlight.

Tonight again the sky is steeped in moonrays;

The night appears as fine as days.

The moon and the wind still the same remain,

But I recall the waterside bower in vain.

Tomorrow I will ask you when at home you’re due,

If you know how I am longing for you.
