The Chinese Dream Is a Dream of Peace, Development, Cooperation and Mutual Benefit

 

我们的和平发展道路来之不易，是新中国成立以来特别是改革开放以来，我们党经过艰辛探索和不断实践逐步形成的。我们党始终高举和平的旗帜，从来没有动摇过。在长期实践中，我们提出和坚持了和平共处五项原则，确立和奉行了独立自主的和平外交政策，向世界作出了永远不称霸、永远不搞扩张的庄严承诺，强调中国始终是维护世界和平的坚定力量。这些我们必须始终不渝坚持下去，永远不能动摇。

 

Our path of peaceful development was hard won. It has been gradually developed by the Party on the basis of painstaking exploration and constant practice since the founding of New China and particularly since reform and opening up. Our Party has always held high the banner of peace and never wavered in this. On the basis of long experience, we advanced and adhered to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, set forth and pursued an independent foreign policy of peace, made the solemn commitment to the world never to seek hegemony or engage in expansion and stressed that China will always be a staunch force safeguarding world peace. We must unswervingly adhere to these principles and never vacillate from them.

Although there is a vast ocean separating China and Africa, our hearts are connected. We are bound together not only by our deep traditional friendship and intertwined interests, but also by our own dreams.

 

十三亿多中国人民正致力于实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦，十亿多非洲人民正致力于实现联合自强、发展振兴的非洲梦。中非人民要加强团结合作、加强相互支持和帮助，努力实现我们各自的梦想。我们还要同国际社会一道，推动实现持久和平、共同繁荣的世界梦，为人类和平与发展的崇高事业作出新的更大的贡献！
