宝贝在手里的时候，

不拿它当宝贝看；

宝贝丢了的时候，

却又急的心气上涌。

When the jewel is in one’s own possession,

One does not appreciate it as a jewel.

But when the jewel has passed into other hands,

Then one’s heart aches with distress.
